We know that changing your landscaping to use more water-wise plants, trees and shrubs and upgrading your sprinkler system with a smart sprinkler controller is an investment. Little Thompson Water District is proud to offer a rebate program to ease some of the expenses and provide further incentives to make water-wise changes to your yard.

Soil Amendment Rebate | Up to $500

Give your lawn and garden a boost! Healthy soil means healthier plants, better moisture retention, and lower water bills. Get up to $500 back when you enhance your soil with high-quality compost or other amendments. Simply purchase at least 3 cubic yards per 1,000 square feet, loosen the top 8 inches of soil, and mix the amendment into the top 4–6 inches. Improve your soil and your savings!

Water-Saving Plants Rebate | Up to $250

Transform your yard into a beautiful, drought-friendly oasis! Choose from a variety of water-wise plants that thrive in Colorado’s climate while reducing your water use. Visit your local nursery, select eligible xeric or drought-resistant plants, and submit your rebate form with an itemized receipt to get up to $250 back. A stunning, sustainable landscape is just a rebate away!

Choose a drought-tolerant tree that’s perfect for our local climate, and we’ll give you up to $150 back when you submit your rebate form with a receipt.
