Each kit includes quart-sized perennials, a Plant-by-Number map, and care instructions—no green thumb required!
Little Thompson Water District customers are eligible for a $25 discount on Garden In A Box. Discounts are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
How Garden In A Box Works
Transforming your yard into a beautiful, water-efficient landscape is simple with the Garden In A Box program. These professionally designed, low-water garden kits come complete with everything you need to create a stunning, drought-tolerant oasis. Here's how it works:
- Pre-Order – Kits are typically available in March for pre-order. Join Resource Central's interest list for updates about when gardens are ready for purchase.
- Plan & Prepare – Measure your space, assess it's sun exposure and remove existing turf if needed.
- Pick Up Your Kit – Resource Central has pre-scheduled pick-up dates and times across Northern Colorado. Pick-up is typically in May or June. Your kit will include plants, planting guides, and care instructions.
- Plant & Enjoy – Follow the easy-to-use map and watch your low-water garden thrive!
